I’m David Heiman—a documentary producer and writer based in Los Angeles, with a passion for emotional storytelling that surprises and challenges. From character-driven portraits to deep archival investigations and branded content, I thrive on narratives that span the spectrum from intimate to expansive.

For six years, I led production at BRKLY, overseeing a diverse slate of documentaries, branded campaigns, and motion-graphics-driven content. I’ve lived and traveled in over 30 countries, which has shaped how I approach storytelling—with curiosity, adaptability, and a deep respect for different perspectives. Today, I’m immersed in producing work that dives into stand-up comedy, Web3 communities, and the textures of aging in America.
